Lighting
So a good friend of mine in the photography industry was showing me some of her work and it had a really soft, light looking feel to it and I wanted to see if I could replicate some of it. :) My style is so much more contrasty than hers so it was fun to step outside what I normally do and try something new. Thankful to have a wife who will go on a walk with me and deal with me taking pictures of her the whole time :)

Sports Photos
Senior Pictures are around the corner and this year I am really excited for my sports shots. When I look back at the senior pictures that I had when I graduated and quite frankly most senior pictures now that involve sports, I want to laugh. When I think of sports, I think of hard work and competition, but for some reason senior pictures almost never seem to catch that. Instead we get these super metro pictures of guys laying on their backs in the grass with a polo on holding on to a nice clean and probably polished football... What a joke! Hopefully these pictures inspire a change in the current "senior picture" trend. Looking forward to a new season of sports photography! Book your date for this summer now!
